Chef Stuart Pellegrino - Bio

A graduate of the highly competitive and esteemed Johnson and Wales Culinary School, at 26, Chef Stu was named the youngest Executive Chef of the renowned, The Stockton Inn. After a distinguished stewardship of 5 years, that included a completely re-imagined and notably well-received menu as well as a trip to the James Beard House, Chef Stu wanted to try his hand in the city. Subsequently he went on to train, cook and manage at a carefully chosen assortment of Philadelphia's finest kitchens. From Philadelphia legends like Brasserie Perrier and Susanna Foo to Rittenhouse Square's longtime favorite for late nights and outdoor dining, Rouge.

Chef Stu has also held the most demanding and highly revered position of Executive Chef at Opus 251 in Rittenhouse Square and Pigalle in Northern Liberties. Most recently, after a successful run as Sous Chef at Stephen Starr's Buddakan. Chef Stu wanted to run his own kitchen. Chef Stu is the unique culinary vision that now distinguishes Delilah’s from being, not only one of the city's best entertainment destinations, but one of the city's best dining destinations as a top Center City steak house.
